After sweating it out following three straight losses to force a Game 7, the Miami Heat finally clinched their second Finals berth in four years with a 103-84 humiliation of the Boston Celtics in the Garden.
Jimmy Butler won Eastern Conference Finals MVP wish five votes after averaging 24.7 points per game during the series and scoring 28 in the decider, edging out Caleb Martin who picked up four.
With the indomitable Butler at the forefront, Miami will face the Western Conference champion Denver Nuggets on June 1st in Game 1 of the NBA Finals as they look to claim their first championship since 2013. The Nuggets will be playing in their first ever NBA Finals and will look to ride the success of their 2x MVP (and arguable best player in the world) Nikola Jokic to a first ever championship in franchise history.
