Trey Hendrickson is expected to report to Bengals training camp on Wednesday, according to ESPN, ending his holdout as the start of the preseason nears. Last season’s NFL sack leader (17.5) had been holding out of team activities due to a contract dispute, before returning to activities this week with fines set to accumulate for days missed after July 23rd.
According to ESPN, the only remaining dispute lies in the guaranteed money of the deal, with the total money and amount of years being close to decided.
In addition to leading the NFL in sacks last season, Hendrickson was named First Team All-Pro for the first time in his career, and has been named to the Pro Bowl each of the last four seasons.
